The Downstate New York Chapter was established in 1992. The Chapter was created to bring awareness to our endless pursuit of our goals:
• To foster and promote public awareness and appreciation of amateur wrestling.
• To support active ongoing amateur wrestling programs in our schools and youth organizations.
• To promote a positive community identity for those programs.
• To honor outstanding individuals.
We welcome you, and continue to pursue awareness for the athletes, coaches, and schools involved with the great sport of wrestling.
