The new #1 in the Pound-For-Pound rankings is Senior World Team member and Final X champion Amit Elor of California.

This is the final ranking for the 2021-22 academic year and includes girls enrolled in grades 8-12.

USA Wrestling sent its first team to the World Championships in Martigny, Switzerland in 1989, and started its women’s wrestling program. The development of women’s and girls wrestling in the United States began at that point.

Distinguished Member Ed Gallagher Is Greatest Coach In Oklahoma State History

Gallagher won 11 of the first 13 NCAA wrestling championships staged. His innovative techniques jettisoned the sport into much of what we see today.
