Preseason National Girls High School, Pound-For-Pound Rankings Released

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame, USA Wrestling and FloWrestling have released the Preseason National Girls High School Individual and Pound-for-Pound rankings. 

Unanimous Vote by PIAA Officially Sanctions Girls Wrestling

The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association voted unanimously on Wed. Sept 27, to sanction girls wrestling as an official scholastic sport governed by the organization, making Pennsylvania the 38th state to sanction girls wrestling.

Amit Elor won her second Senior World gold medal and the United States women's freestyle team finished second in the team standings at the 2023 World Championships.

The 19-year-old Elor has now won eight World medals, including seven gold medals.

The U.S. Men’s Freestyle World Team was crowned World Team Champions, the fifth-time ever and the first time that the team has won back-to-back World Team Titles. USA finished with seven medals (three gold, one silver and three bronze).
