Aden Attao and Alexandria Alli, gold medalists at the 2026 U23 Pan American Championships, anchor a 16-person U.S. roster for the 2026 Grand Prix of Spain. The event will take place in Madrid, Spain, with Greco-Roman action on July 10, women’s freestyle on July 11 and men’s freestyle on July 12.

Jaslynn Gallegos, Marissa Gallegos, Caley Graber and Taylor Whiting are all winners of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award while Attao is a Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award winner.

Attao and Courtney Denzel Freeman make up the U.S. Greco-Roman contingent, both set to compete in the 130 kg weight class. A two-time U20 World bronze medalist, Attao enters the tournament after winning his third Pan American Championship title last month, his first at the U23 level. Freeman returns to international competition following a ninth-place finish at the Zagreb Open Ranking Series event in February.

Alexandria Alli will compete in the 72 kg women’s freestyle bracket, marking her second international tournament in as many months. In June, Alli went 4-0 in the 76 kg division at the U23 Pan American Championships in Lima, Peru. She clinched her Pan American Championships title with three technical fall shutouts and a 3-3 criteria win over Mexico’s Edna Jimenez Villalba, the 2026 Senior Pan American Championships bronze medalist.

After closing out her redshirt sophomore season at the University of Iowa with All-America honors, Karlee Brooks will make her first international appearance since 2024. Brooks captured a U20 title at the 2026 USA Wrestling Women’s National Championships, highlighted by six dominant performances, including three pins, two in the 57 kg best-of-three finals series.

Mekhi Lewis (86 kg) headlines the men’s freestyle team’s two-man lineup, with Tony Tolbert competing at 65 kg. Lewis, a 2019 NCAA National Champion at 165 pounds, enters the tournament after an eighth-place finish at the U.S. Open Championships in April.
