Bryan Zeamer
Bryan Zeamer’s life is a testament to the values of hard work, perseverance, leadership, and giving back to the sport of wrestling.
From his days as a standout high school and collegiate wrestler to his success as a businessman and community leader, Bryan has consistently exemplified the ideals represented by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame’s Outstanding American Award.
Beyond the wrestling room, Bryan has achieved remarkable success in business. As CEO of Utility Keystone Trailer Sales and PennStro Leasing, with five locations across Pennsylvania, he has grown the Lancaster-based company into one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in the region, employing more than 130 people. The name “PennStro” short for “Pennsylvania Strong” reflects Bryan’s pride in his home state – where, as he says, “the best wrestlers hail.” Bryan’s influence extends far beyond business and athletics.
Bryan’s journey reflects a legacy of competitive excellence, professional success, and lifelong service. The lessons he learned on the wrestling mat have impacted every aspect of his life, guiding his commitment to mentorship and coaching, driving his unwavering support for wrestling at all levels, and shaping his approach to balance through, what he refers to, as the Core 5: Faith, Family, Friends, Fitness, and Finance.
A 1990 graduate of Manheim Central High School, Bryan compiled 78 wins while competing for the Barons. He was a two-time Schuylkill Valley Tournament champion, a Manheim Holiday Tournament champion, and a Lancaster Lebanon League All-Star. He capped his scholastic career as a PIAA state qualifier and was honored as Manheim Central’s Most Valuable Wrestler.
Bryan continued his career as a preferred walk-on at Penn State University where he earned a varsity letter in 1991. Zeamer transferred to Elizabethtown College in 1993, where he earned All-America honors with a fifth-place finish at the 1995 NCAA Division III tournament. That same year, he was selected to compete with Athletes in Action on an international tour in Hungary, where he earned a runner-up finish at the Rocozi Cup. In recognition of his collegiate achievements, Bryan was inducted into the Elizabethtown College Hall of Fame.
After graduation, Bryan remained connected to the sport through coaching. He shared his knowledge and passion at his high school alma mater, Manheim Central, his collegiate alma mater, Elizabethtown College and at Millersville University.
In 2006, he founded Men of Iron, a Biblically based organization that has impacted thousands of men nationally through mentoring and coaching. He is the author of Becoming Iron, The Habits, Brotherhood, and Mindset That Forge Unshakeable Men.
Zeamer has been happily married to Heather for close to 30 years. Together, they raised three sons who live locally – Kyle, married to Kara, Zack, and Conner.
For his outstanding contributions as an athlete, coach, businessman, family man, mentor and role model, Bryan Zeamer is richly deserving of induction into the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as an Outstanding American.
