Official State Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame
May 2nd, 2007, 14th Oregon Chapter Banquet
On May 2nd the Oregon Chapter held their 14th banquet before an overflow crowd of 425. In attendance at this years banquet was the 2007 National Medal of Courage recipient, Joe Russell.
The late Dale Thomas, the founder of the Oregon Chapter, would have been very happy to see the tremendous support that has grown in the state chapter program the past several years. Mr. Bill Lam, National Wrestling Hall of Fame Representative, gave the welcome and congratulations to this years class. Mr. Ed Burton, Master of Ceremonies introduced the Class of 2008. The following individuals were honored this year.
