Wilsonville--The Oregon Chapter recognized four special individuals and Honored six individuals for their Lifetime Service to Wrestling.

The Oregon Chapter recognized Retired wrestling coach, Mike Reuter for his service in World War II in the 509th Parachute Infantry Battalion. This was the 40th Anniversary since Rick Sanders and Fred Fozzard won their 1969 World Titles, and R.J. Pena was honored as the State recipient of the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award. After these great Oregon Wrestling people were recognized it was time to begin the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's Honors Celebration. Mr. Jim Zalesky, Distinguished Member of the NWHOF was on hand to present the awards along with 421 wrestling friends, family and fans of the men being honored.
