The Downstate New York Chapter was established in 1992.

The Chapter was created to bring awareness to our endless pursuit of our goals.

The goals of our Chapter include:

• To preserve the history of wrestling.
• To market wrestling.
• To assist existing youth programs in wrestling.
• To honor outstanding individuals.

We welcome you, and continue to pursue awareness for the athletes, coaches, and schools involved with the great sport of wrestling.
