Stottler receives NWHOF Medal of Courage Award
The Minnesota Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame presented Earl Stottler of Starbuck, Minnesota, with the Medal of Courage Award on Oct. 10 in Benson, Minnesota.
Over 90 people were in attendance with former wrestlers, coaching colleagues, family, friends, and seven Hall of Fame Lifetime Service to Wrestling recipients.
Stottler, who has battled major health issues in recent years, received the award from Don Dravis of Staples, Minnesota. Stottler’s sons, Shaun and Wade, spoke on their father’s behalf.
