Colorado Chapter Class of 2023

The Colorado Chapter would like to introduce their class of 2023 honorees who will be honored on May 13th, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Sharon Farnsworth, Longmont, CO; Lifetime Service Award - Sharon is being honored for her many years of service as a pairing official. She and her husband Michael spent numerous years traveling throughout Colorado and neighboring states as paring masters and being active as part of the Colorado USA Wrestling board.

Dan Janowsky, Pagosa Springs, CO; Lifetime Service Award - Dan has been active as Head Coach for the Pagosa Springs High School since 1990.  Since 2004, he has ran the Pagosa Springs Wrestle the World Team Camp bringing wrestlers from all over the western states among numerous Olympic and National Champion clinicians.

Mike Marsh, Littleton, CO; Lifetime Service Award - Mike has been a High School head coach at several locations throughout the Denver area including Columbine, Evergreen, Arvada and Lakewood. He has also served as an assistant coach at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. Currently he is coaching the HS Girls team for Columbine High School.

Andy Pipher, Paonia, CO; Lifetime Service Award- Andy has decades of High School coaching experience at Paonia High School including 5 state championships. His personal wrestling accomplishments include being a 4 time Division II All -American for University of Southern Colorado and a 1991 NAIA champion in 1991.

Scott Stocker, Boulder, CO; Lifetime Service Award- Since the early 1970s, Scott has been a sports columnist for the former Rocky Mountain News and Colorado Sidelines newspapers.  His news articles covering the sport of wrestling reached many fans throughout the state. He gave the sport of wrestling equal coverage to the other main stream sports.
