Schmit Named Iowa High School Female Wrestler of the Year

Ella Schmit of Bettendorf High School has been chosen as the 2022 recipient of the Iowa High School Female Wrestler of the Year award, presented annually by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum.

Hunter Garvin of Iowa City West High School is the 2022 recipient of the Bob Steenlage Iowa High School Wrestler of the Year award, named in honor of the first four-time Iowa high school state champion.

USA Wrestling Assigns Weight Classes for Final X Stillwater and Final X New York

Final X Stillwater, presented by Tezos, will be held Friday, June 3 at Gallagher-Iba Arena on the campus of Oklahoma State University, alongside the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Honors Weekend, at the Hall of Fame facility next door, June 3-4.

March Girls National High School Pound-For-Pound, Top 25 Rankings

All of the official and unofficial state championships for girls have been held. In addition, the first of the major postseason competitions, the USA Wrestling Girls Folkstyle Nationals, was last weekend, with numerous ranked wrestlers in action.

Final X Stillwater Set For Gallagher-Iba Arena at Oklahoma State on June 3, Alongside Hall of Fame Honors Weekend

The Final X series will determine the 2022 U.S. Senior World Teams in all three of the Olympic disciplines: men’s and women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman. The Hall of Fame's annual Honors Weekend will be held June 3-4.
