Week 3 across the NCAA/NAIA women's wrestling landscape may have been the least busy yet – as plenty of teams were undoubtedly gearing up for the looming Missouri Valley Open – but as always, there were still several storylines and results of note.

Iowa Women, Iowa City Host USA vs. Ukraine "Friendly" at Xtream Arena

The Iowa City Area Sports Commission, in partnership with the Iowa Women’s Wrestling Club, is proud to welcome the Ukrainian Women’s Wrestling Federation back to Wrestle Town, USA.

Team Ukraine will join Team USA next month for a two-week training camp with the Iowa Hawkeyes Women’s Wrestling program. The camp will conclude with a USA vs. Ukraine “friendly” hosted by the Iowa Women’s Wrestling Club.

NCAA Men’s Notebook: National Duals Deep Dive, Throwdown on the Yorktown II

Led by Jesse Mendez, Ohio State dominated the field and won over $200,000 in prize money at the inaugural National Duals Invitational while the most picturesque setting of the weekend was the Throwdown on the Yorktown II aboard the USS Yorktown (CV-10), which is an Essex-class aircraft carrier built during World War II.

Ohio State Leaves No Doubt, Wins National Duals Invitational

TULSA, Oklahoma - Statement made by fourth ranked Ohio State; The Buckeyes dominated all comers on its way to first place and the $200k grand prize at the 2025 National Duals Invitational held this weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ohio State cemented its place atop the standings with a decisive 27-12 win over No. 3 Iowa on Sunday evening at the BOK Center, which aired nationally on ESPN2.

Iowa, Ohio State Reach National Duals Invitational Finals

Iowa and Ohio State will meet, with $1 million in prize money on the line, in the National Duals Invitational finals at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The championship dual will be televised on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. CT on Sunday.

National Duals Invitational Semifinals Set
