LAS VEGAS – The U20 Greco-Roman World Team was set on Thursday night at the 2026 U.S. Open Championships. Arvin Khosravy headlines the squad after making his third-straight U20 Greco-Roman World Team at The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas.

The winner of each weight class has now qualified for the U20 World Team. The 2026 U20 World Championships are slated for August 16-23 in Bratislava, Slovakia.

After dropping the opening match of the 82 kg championship series to Ivan Ivanov, Khosravy rebounded. He won the next contests by a combined two points—first 3-1 to force a third bout, then by criteria in a 1-1 affair.

Leister Bowling IV made his second straight U20 World Team after sweeping the finals at 77 kg. Bowling posted a 9-1 technical fall and a 5-0 decision against Will Scherer.

U17 World Teamers Ezekiel Witt and Travyn Boger made their second age-group World Teams on Thursday night.

2023 U17 World Team member Witt needed all three matches to take down 2025 U20 World Team member Caleb Noble at 55 kg. Witt won the opening match 12-4 but lost a tight 10-8 match in the second round of the series. In the winner-take-all contest, Witt notched another technical fall, 13-4.

Boger, 2024 U17 World Team member, pinned his way to the title at 130 kg after winning a 9-2 decision in the first match of the finals.

Eli Esguerra earned Outstanding Wrestler accolades during the U20 Greco-Roman World Team Trials following a 7-0 day. Esguerra only allowed two points throughout the day, which came in his opening bout. Before the championship series, he recorded three technical falls and two pins. In the finals, Esguerra rolled to the championship at 72 kg with a pair of 8-0 technical falls.

Amryn Nutter, Aidan Squier and Cittadino Tuttle all swept their championship series to earn their spots on the U20 World Team. Nutter started with an 8-7 win at 67 kg and followed with an 8-0 technical fall. At 87 kg, Squier won his two finals contests by 9-0 technical falls. Tuttle also notched two tech falls in the finals at 97 kg, 9-1 and 9-0.

Manuel Saldate (60 kg) and Nicholas Sorrow (63 kg) both rallied from losses in their first championship series matches and won rounds two and three, capping off the U20 World Team.
