ESPN2 Will Broadcast National Duals Invitational Championship Match

The National Duals Invitational, a groundbreaking $1 million collegiate wrestling event sponsored by Paycom, has announced that its championship match will air on ESPN2 on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. CST from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The final was previously slated to air on ESPNU before being moved to ESPN2.

NWCA Division I Men’s Wrestling Coaches Poll Sees Little Movement

MANHEIM, Pa. - With just a handful of dual meets in the opening weekend of the major college wrestling season, there was minimal movement in the first National Wrestling Coaches Association Division I Men’s Wrestling Coaches Poll of the regular season, released on Tuesday.

There was a reshuffling of teams in the bottom half of the poll following Utah Valley’s 19-12 upset over then-No. 14 Stanford over the weekend. The Cardinal slipped five spots to No. 19 this week.

Blades Looks Forward to Chasing ‘Iconic Trophy’

Last season, Blades won the 160-pound title in the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championship, which was organized by the Women's Collegiate Wrestling Coalition and will be replaced by the NCAA championship this season. 

For Blades, competing in an NCAA championship symbolizes the growth and popularity of women's wrestling.

235 athletes registered for 2025 Bill Farrell Memorial International

Entries for next week's Bill Farrell Memorial International are rolling in with 156 U.S. athletes and 79 international athletes currently registered to compete across the three international disciplines.

Among the top American names registered as of October 31 are 2019 World champion Jacarra Winchester and 2023 World bronze medalist Mason Parris, both of whom are Olympians. Additionally, several age-group World medalists, up-and-coming prospects, and international stars will step to the line in New York City.

National Wrestling Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2026

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame on Thursday announced that its Class of 2026 is Distinguished Members Ben Askren, Tervel Dlagnev, Lee Roy Smith and Shannon Williams-Yancey; Meritorious Official honoree Zach Errett; Order of Merit recipient James L. Porter, MA, LAT, ATC; Medal of Courage recipient Patrick Morrissey; and Outstanding American honoree Retired United States Army Major General Michael J. Nardotti, Jr.

Riding 71-Match Dual Win Streak, Penn State Opens Season Ranked No. 1

he National Wrestling Coaches Association has released its preseason Division I Men’s Wrestling Coaches Poll, with NCAA champion Penn State opening the year as the nation’s No. 1 team. The Nittany Lions received all 16 first-place votes after finishing last season 15-0 in duals and capturing their 12th national title under head coach Cael Sanderson and 13th overall.

Nebraska, last year’s NCAA runner-up, starts at No. 2, followed by Iowa, Ohio State, and Oklahoma State. The top 10 also includes Iowa State, NC State, Lehigh, Minnesota, and Virginia Tech, representing four different conferences.
