Stan Holmes

Stan Holmes coaching career spans 28 years, dating back to 1974 when he began the wrestling program at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School.

Coach Holmes' teams compiled a record of 403 wins against 164 losses and 4 ties. During his career, Coach Holmes' teams have amassed 13 League Championships, 2 Sectional Championships, 5 Sectional Runners-up , 26 Sectional Champions, 7 State Champions and 3 New England Champions.

In 2002 Coach Holmes reached a milestone being named as a Member of the Massachusetts Coaches "400 Win Club." Stan is a member of USA Wrestling Massachusetts Coaches Association and in 1999 started the Brick Road Wrestling Club which is open to all youth in the area.

Stan has also coached baseball at Bridgewater-Raynham High School for 14 years with a winning record of 207 wins and 129 losses. In addition he has been the Freshmen Football Coach for 16 years, compiling a record of 150 wins, 16 losses, and 5 ties.

Stan attended Ottawa University in Kansas and currently resides in Bridgewater. He has 3 adult children: Robert, Rebecca and Andrew.
