Charles Jones
Charles Jones of Purdue University became the oldest wrestler to win an NCAA wrestling title at 28 years old in 1992 at Oklahoma City.
A two-time Ohio state place-winner, Jones graduated from Sandusky High School in 1982 and served six years in the United States Air Force.
He enrolled at Olivet-Nazarene and was a two-time NAIA All-American, finishing second in 1989 and third in 1990.
Jones transferred to Purdue and earned All-America honors with a third-place finish in 1991 before finishing first in 1992, capping the only perfect season in Boilermakers history by finishing with a 33-0 record.
