David Abraham is recognized for his years of dedication to the development of leadership and citizenship in young people through the sport of wrestling.

David (Abe) Abrahams dual meet record of 566 wins, 71 losses and 9 ties was topped with 17 district titles, a 1979 state championship and numerous top 10 state finishes. Because of Abraham‘s coaching success at North Bend high school, he was named the national high school dual champion team coach, the USA Jr. World Greco team coach to Japan, the Oregon national team coach and was the cultural exchange coach for the Turkey, Germany and Japan exchanges. Coach Abraham has been recognized as the 1986 Region 8 coach of the year, the 1974 USWF national coach of the year and the 1992 national high school coach of the year.
David (Abe) Abraham‘s teams have always recognized him as an outstanding coach and role model, and he has given a lifetime of service to the youth of America through the sport of wrestling.
