Jerry Dilley
Jerry Dilley is recognized for his years of dedication to the development of leadership and citizenship in young people through the sport of wrestling.
Jerry Dilley coached wrestling at Lowell high school, where his teams placed in the top three at the state tournament 19 times. He coached 148 state place winners. He was named the class A wrestling coach of the year five times, the Oregon high school boys coach of the year four times and won national coach of the year honors in 1989.
He has served as president of the Oregon Wrestling Coaches Association and assisted in the development of Oregon’s Cultural Exchange wrestling program. He coached 2 cultural exchange teams to foreign countries and hosted several foreign wrestlers and coaches.
For his 32 years of coaching wrestling we recognize Jerry Dilley’s “Lifetime of Service” to the youth of America through the sport of wrestling.
