Dick Weisbrodt

Dick Weisbrodt is recognized for his years of dedication to the development of leadership and citizenship in young people through the sport of wrestling.

Dick Weisbrodt begin coaching wrestling at Lebanon Union high school in 1957. His teams earned seven league championship titles, with 75 individual league champs, and placed second 12 times. His teams also enjoyed 38 consecutive dual meet victories which stretched over a three year period. In state competition, his team placed in the top ten 11 different times. He has coached seven state champions and 12 runner ups.

He was named National High School Coach of the Year in 1974 and served as the State Wrestling Coaches President and the Executive Secretary of the Oregon Wrestling Cultural Exchange.
