Wrestling Coach 1986-1993 •Goodrich High School Head Wrestling Coach 1993-1999 •USA Schoolboy head coach 1991 and 1992 •USA Wrestling assistant coach Cadet and Junior national team 1993 •Michigan USA Wrestling Head Coach 1994-2000 •Coached Cadet National Dual Team to top 5 finishes in Freestyle and Greco-Roman 2000 •Started the Goodrich Tournament of Champions, now in it's 17th year (one of the toughest tournaments in the state) •Goodrich had over 50 AAU and USA Wrestling National Champions from 1984-2000 in freestyle •Greco-roman and folkstyle •Goodrich Varsity had 40 all state wrestlers and 7 state champions from 1991-2002 •Team Final 8 in the state in 1995, 97, 98 and 1999, finishing as State Runner-up twice •Served one year as the Michigan Wrestling Coaches Association President •Served on the MHSAA rules committee •Regional Coach of the year (5 times) •In1990 Goodrich opened their wrestling room to any and all to come and train to become champions. Tuesday and Thursday nights year round. •Some of Dennis' proteges (as young wrestlers) became NCAA Champions Jon Reader, Paul Donahoe and Brent Metcalf, just to name a few.
