Jake Ferri

Jake Ferri grew up in Billerica, Massachusetts and wrestled for Shawsheen Technical High School and Doughboy Wrestling Club during the offseason.

A four-year starter and two-year captain with a career record of 203-24, he was a four-time league all-star; a two-time Lowell Holiday champion, earning Outstanding Wrestler honors in 2017; and a two-time league MVP.

He was a three-time Division I North sectional champ, earning Outstanding Wrestler honors in 2017; a two-time Division I state champion and three-time finalist; a two-time all-state champion, earning Outstanding Wrestler honors in 2016; and a two-time New England champion.

Ferri was a three-time National High School Coaches Association All-American, reaching the finals as a junior and senior after a seventh-place finish as a sophomore.

He was the 2017 Public School Wrestler of the Year in Massachusetts and a USA Wrestling Magazine High School Academic All-American.

An honor roll student with a 3.60 GPA, Ferri will continue his wrestling career at Kent State University with plans to major in exercise science.
