Rich Rolen

Rich Rolen graduated from Oregon College of Education (WOU) in 1978 where he earned a B.S. in Physical Education and Mathematics, and later earning a Master's degree at Lewis & Clark College. While at OCE, Rich was a two time Evergreen Conference Champion. His coaching career spanned 38 years, including six years as an official. Rich coached at Sunset High School in Beaverton, The Dalles High School, and Oregon City High School. He also was an assistant at OCE while finishing up his degree. In 2002, he was a coach for the Oregon Cultural Exchange Team to Belgium. Rich coached 66 state placers, including eleven state champions. In 1980, Rich and his wife, Patty, founded The Dalles Wrestling Club where they were on the board for 25 years.
