Kanen Storr was a three-time Michigan state champion, four-time state finalist and had a career record of 227-3 for Leslie High School in Leslie, Michigan.

He was a Fargo runner-up and three-time Fargo All-American while also being a three-time United World Wrestling/FILA Junior and Cadet All-American.

Storr was a two-time USA Wrestling preseason national champion and a Cadet Pan-American Championships finalist.
