Richard Osbeck
Richard Osbeck graduated from William Tennent High in 1958, and was a 3-year wrestling letterman and Team Captain. He wrestled at East Stroudsburg, graduating in 1963. Rich became a teacher at Centennial School District, staying his entire career. At Centennial, Rich coached both the Eugene Klinger Middle School and the Log College Middle School. From 1964 until he retired in 2002, his combined record was 363-32, including 15 undefeated seasons and multiple tournament championships. Rich also coached football and baseball at middle school level during those years. Rich officiated in these three sports. From 1990-2002, he was a PIAA Wrestling official, and was the Chapter President in 1997. He served on the Board of Directors as the League Rep for Warminster Spartans Youth Wrestling from 1976-1987, and then for Council Rock Youth Wrestling from 1988-1994. Rich serves as score keeper & announcer for Council Rock North High Wrestling, since 1989. In 2002, he received a commendation from the Lower Bucks County Jr High/Middle School Athletic Directors, and he was named an "At Large" member of PIAA District I Wrestling Steering Committee. Rich was named as an Honorary Member of the Delaware Valley Chapter of PIAA Wrestling Officials, and is a member of the Southeast Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame. Rich and his wife Sally Ann live in Richboro.
