Jason Tsirtsis

Jason Tsirtsis was a four-time Indiana state champion for Crown Point High School.

He had a career record of 176-2 with both losses being 3-2 decisions during freshman season.

Tsirtsis was named Intermat Wrestler of the Year in 2012 and Post Tribune Wrestler of the Year and Northwest Indiana Times Wrestler of the Year in 2011 and 2012.

He competed in 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier as an 18-year-old and narrowly missed qualifying for Olympic Team Trials, losing in closing seconds to two-time Oklahoma All-American Zach Bailey.

Tsirtsis was the Junior National Freestyle champion at 140 pounds and the FloNationals Folkstyle champion at 135 pounds in 2011.

He finished sixth at 132 pounds at FILA Junior Nationals and third at Junior Freestyle Nationals at 135 pounds in 2011.

Tsirtsis was a Cadet Junior Regional, FILA Cadet Nationals and FloNationals champion in 2010.

He was a Cadet Nationals champion in folkstyle and a FILA Cadet Nationals champion in freestyle in 2009.
