Kyle Visconti

Kyle Visconti of North Reading wrestled for Malden Catholic High School where he was a State and New England champion and captain of the wrestling team. He went on to wrestle in Division I at Ohio State University. In his freshman season, he was a Runner-up at Eastern Michigan Open and finished fourth at Michigan State Open. In his sophomore season, he posted 4-7 record during the season and competed in a pair of open tournaments in the UB Invitational and Michigan State Open before starting five dual matches for injured Logan Stieber; he recorded a 2-3 mark during those competitions with wins against Northwestern's Garrison White (6-5) and Indiana's Alonzo Shepherd (8-2). In his junior year, he competed in five open tournaments and received the starting nod in three dual matches, including a pair of Big Ten matches vs. Wisconsin and Illinois. Kyle is the son of Rob and Kim and has two brothers, Devin and Ryan, and one sister Emily. He plans to go into real estate following undergraduate studies. His greatest sports thrill was winning the New England title after losing to his rival two weeks prior.
