Austin Marsden
Austin Marsden was a four-time Illinois Greco-Roman state champion and a three-time Illinois freestyle state champion.
He was the Illinois state high school champion at 215 pounds in 2011, while recording 44 pins, the second-most falls in Illinois high school history. He was the Illinois high school state champion at 189 pounds in 2010. WIN Magazine named him Illinois Wrestler of the Year in 2011.
Marsden won the USA Folkstyle National Championships and placed fifth at the USA Wrestling Junior Nationals in 2011.
He was the FILA Cadet Freestyle national champion and finished third at the USA Wrestling Junior Nationals in 2010 and won the USA Wrestling Junior Nationals Cadet Freestyle tournament in 2009.
Also played football in high school, earning all-conference and Defensive Player of the Year honors.
