Glenn Goodman

Whenever there is a discussion about the "greats" of Florida wrestling, Glenn Goodman's name is undoubtedly one of the first to come up.

In addition to his outstanding competitive career, he has spent the past 20+ years running the very successful and popular Florida Pride Wrestling Camps. This camp annually brings in nationally-recognized clinicians, while showcasing Florida's greatest wrestling talent, such as Jared Frayer, Chris Bono, Dustin Denunzio, Anthony Grajales, David Craig, and Just to name a few. Through a partnership with USA Wrestling, Glenn's camps also offer scholarships to dozens of kids every year that would normally not be able to afford to attend camp.

In addition to his highly successful camps, Glenn has been an assistant coach at Countryside High School, where he helped mentor several highly successful wrestlers, such as US National Team member Jared Frayer, former University of the Cumberlands head coach Andy Medders and many others.

He also served as the head coach at Clearwater Central Catholic High School, helping to produce multiple state champions like Sean Moyles and Guy Harris.

Glenn has also privately coached and mentored hundreds of Florida wrestlers over the course of his career.

As a competitor, Glenn was Florida's first four-time undefeated state champion, a four-year letter winner at the University of Oklahoma, the 1990 Pan Am Games champion and a three-time Maccabiah Games champion. He was also runner-up at the 1988 and 1992 Olympic Trials, as well as a member of the US National Team for the better part of a decade.

Glenn and his wife Anne have three daughters: Bethany, Netanya, and Shayna.
