John Zerba
John Zerba is recognized for his years of dedication to the development of leader ship and citizenship in young people through the sport of Wrestling.

John was a four-year letterman at Lewis and Clark college, where he compiled a 60-15 record as a varsity wrestler and was a four time Northwest Conference champion. In his 32 years of wrestling coaching involvement at Mac Hi and the supporting programs, their teams have won three state team titles plus 3 runner-up and two 4th place trophies. Wrestlers he has worked with have won 4 individual state championships, 70 district titles and 78 state tournaments medals. McLaughlin high school teams have also won the Oregon Classic dual meet championship tournament four times. John was instrumental in starting the kids wrestling program at Milton-Freewater in 1972 and has been involved ever since. John is a CPA by trade, with a lifetime addiction to Wrestling.
