Jack Provencal

Jack Provencal has provided coaching , leadership and administrative service to Michigan wrestling that is beyond reproach. He began his coaching career at new Lothrop in 1969 and moved to Eaton Rapids in 1974 building a program that many consider a dynasty. 15 years later he moved on to Grand Haven serving as Assistant Principal and Wrestling coach before taking over the Athletic Directors duties. Jack's accomplishments are as follows: a dual meet record of 311-72-3, 56 Individual State Medalists, 15 State Champions, 11 Regional Championships, 2 State runner-up finishes, 4 State Championships, 12 time Regional Coach of the Year, 3 time State Coach of the year and 2 time National/Regional Coach of the Year. Statistics cannot describe the impact Jack has had on the lives of his wrestlers or the communities in which he has served.
