John Hamilton started wrestling at Calhoun High School on Long Island. He moved on to Central Connecticut where he had a successful career. Returning to Long Island, John spent the next 18 years coaching at several Long Island High Schools. During that time, he coached 10 Nassau County, and 8 New York State placewinners. John has also worked at numerous wrestling camps while serving as a high school administrator.
