Roger was a champion wrestler at MacArthur HS in Levittown NY and went on to wrestle at Montclair State in New Jersey. He won; an Empire State Championship in Freestyle wrestling He has coached wrestling at New York Maritime College, George Washington University, SUNY Farmingdale, and as a volunteer; assistant at MacArthur High School. He is very involved in New York State politics. He has always been a mentor to young wrestlers and is active in Nassau County wrestling.
