Mark Laramee

Mark Laramee is the 1st Massachusetts wrestler to win the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award for both Massachusetts and the Northeast Region. Mark wrestled for Rockland High School under coach Ken Leer. He had a high school career record of 208-20. Mark was a 4x Division III South Sectional Champion, a 4x Division III State Champion, a 2x All-State Champion, a 2x 3rd place finisher at New Englands and a 1998 New England Champion. He finishes high school with a 3.61 GPA and was selected as a Wrestling USA Academic All American. He was a member of the National Honor Society and received science and language awards. Laramee received Rockland's Best Award for community service and citizenship. He was a Boy's State representative, participated in peer tutoring, SADD and cooked Thanksgiving dinners for the elderly. Mark went on to wrestle in Division I at Boston University from 1998-2002 (varsity 3 years and redshirt). And Sacred Heart University from 2002-2004 where he wrestled varsity for another season. Mark received his BS degree in Finance from Boston University in 2002 and his MBA degree in Finance in 2004. He is currently employed at John Hancock US Insurance as a Director of Sales and Development and is also a wrestling instructor for the Dungeon Training Center in Hanover, MA.
