Official G. Ken Sucher came to Florida from Ohio where he was a very successful wrestler.  He became a dedicated high school wrestling official and served for 38 years.  He has been an official at the FHSAA State Championships twelve times.

His service includes leadership positions with the Greater Miami Athletic Conference Officials, including over 12 years as Commissioner and 4 years as Broward County Commissioner of Officials.

He has conducted clinics and mentored many officials over the years.  He has been on the FHSAA Officials committee helping to contribute to the rules tests that officials must take.

Ken Sucher was honored by the FHSAA with the Meritorious Achievement Award in 2000.
