Rick Franklin
Rick Franklin is recognized for his years of dedication to the development of leadership and citizenship in young people through the sport of wrestling.

Rick Franklin, a NAIA National Champion at Pacific University, has served the wrestling community for 34 years as a wrestling official and coach. He officiated six national tournaments, 13 Pac-10 tournaments, one Big-10 tournament, a National Wresting Coaches Association All-Star meet and 15 OSAA State High School tournaments. His coaching service includes 20 years as assistant coach at Mt. Hood Community College, Pacific University, Willamette University, Gresham High School, and Dexter McCarty Middle School. He is a member of the Pacific University Hall of Fame and NW Junior College Athletic Association Hall of Fame.
As an attorney, Rick has been doing pro bono legal work for "Save Oregon Wrestling".
For his dedication and lasting influence on wrestling, Rick Franklin is presented the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's "Lifetime Service to Wrestling" award for the class of 2009.
