William "Bill" Cameron

William "Bill" Cameron has had a successful career coaching in Northern Virginia.

He was the head coach at Graham Park Middle School, assistant coach at George Mason University, where he was inducted into their Hall of Fame, assistant coach and head coach at Potomac High School, and head coach at Stonewall High School.

As a middle school coach his teams won one county and one regional championship. His high school teams won 11 district titles, eight regional championships, and finished as runners-up at the Virginia state tournament four times. George Mason won a Mason-Dixon Conference championship while he was an assistant coach.

Cameron coached 12 Virginia state champions, two All-Americans and 70 state place-winners while compiling a dual meet record of 349-51-3.

He was named county coach of the year six times and in 1998 was named the Virginia Coach of the Year by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
