Coach Jon wrestled in college at Buena Vista College and Northwestern College in Iowa.  He has coached at Okeechobee, Cooper City, and, Royal Palm Beach High School's.  His teams have won six District Titles and have been runner-up four times, won two Conference Championships, two County Championships and been runner-up twice, finished 2nd the Region three times and placed in the top 20 in the state 8 times, finishing as high as 3rd. He has been named Palm Beach County's Coach of the Year in 1991, 2001 and 2002.  He has coached 74 District Champions, 153 Regional Qualifiers, 19 Regional Champions, 14 Region Runner-ups, 20 State place winners which includes five State Champions.  His wrestlers have gone on to wrestle in Junior College, NAIA, and Divisions I, II, III. Three of his wrestlers have gone on to become college All-Americans including one National Champion.
