Coach Rick is a graduate of Seminole High School and the University of Central Florida.  He has coached at Lyman, Oviedo, Winter Springs and Osceola High Schools.  He is a Bronze Level Instructor for USA Wrestling's coach's education program.  His teams have won seven District Titles and 4 Regional Titles.  He has coached 11 All-Americans including 1991 Cadet National Champion, Nicky Samero.  He has been named Seminole Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times, FACA Dairy Farmers 3A Coach of the Year in 1993 and FAWA Mike McCoy Memorial Coaches Award recipient in 1997.  He was Athletic Director at Winter Springs High School from 1997 to 2005.  Rick served as Florida National Team Director from 1993 to 1999 and again in 2008.  He served as a national Team coach from 1991 to 1993, 1999-2004, and 2006 and 2007.
