Norris Hattlestad

Norris Hattlestad started his wrestling in Iowa, graduating from Decorah High and Iowa State University. His teaching and coaching includes one year at Durant, Iowa, nine at Richland Center and ten at Merrill. His impressive 243-23 dual meet record complements his thirteen conference, seventeen regional and eleven sectional championship teams. Norris has sent 62 qualifiers to the state meet, which includes 38 place winners and four state champions. Norris has been active in other aspects also. He has been an area representative and president of the Wisconsin Wrestling Coaches Association. He has had articles printed in Amateur Wrestling News. Scholastic Wrestling News, and the WIAA Bulletin and he refereed at all levels of wrestling competition.
