Bianca Connell was a three-time South Carolina state wrestling champion and a four-time state place-winner for Mauldin High School.

She was the first female to represent Mauldin at the state wrestling tournament and the first female state wrestling champion in school history. Connell was also the first female wrestler in school history to reach 100 career wins and the first to earn all-state and All-American honors.

She was the first female to play football for Mauldin, while also playing softball and being a member of the orchestra.

Connell volunteered for multiple organizations, including Harvest Hope Food Bank, United Ministries, United Way and LiveWell School Pantry, while also donating her time to youth recreation programs, wrestling clubs and Mauldin's athletic department. She also served as a mentor and tutor and assisted with food and meal drives.

Connell graduated cum laude with a 4.368 GPA and was named Female Student-Athlete of the Year. She was a member of the Athletic Leadership Cabinet, National Honor Society, Beta Club and Mauldin High School Athletic Trainer Program.

She plans to continue her education in sports medicine and early childhood education with the goal of helping young athletes overcome injuries, reach their goals and believe in themselves.
