Justin Zeerip was an undefeated four-time Michigan state wrestling champion with a career record of 260-0 for Hesperia High School.

He set state and national records for most consecutive wins with 260 and most career pins with 203. Zeerip finished third at the 2007 Senior High School Nationals tournament and was named recipient of Michigan's "Mr. Wrestler" award.

Zeerip also competed in cross country and helped his team capture two state team titles while also earning All-Western Athletic Conference honors as a junior.

He was academic all-state and named to Wrestling USA magazine's Academic All-America team as a senior. Zeerip was co-valedictorian of his graduating class while also being a member of National Honor Society and the honor roll.
