Yanik is a 4-time State Champion with an overall high school record of 181-3. Yanik has competed in freestyle and Greco tournaments at the Junior Nationals on multiple occasions and placed 4th at the Southeastern Regionals as a Team Alabama Representative. Yanik has maintained a 3.0 GPA during his high school career. Yanik has been a valuable leader for the Huntsville High School Wrestling Program, being selected as Team Captain on multiple occasions. Yanik’s leadership helped Huntsville to Team State Championships in the Dual Team and Individual State Tournaments in 2024. Yanik will begin his college wrestling career at Presbyterian College this fall.
