Mckenzie Mills

Mckenzie Mills was the first female state champion in the history of David Douglas High School in Portland, Oregon. She was also the first female in school history to be a four-time state qualifier and a three-time state place-winner.

Mills lettered four years in wrestling and was team captain for two years while being the first four-time recipient of the Most Valuable Wrestler award at her school.

She is also a three-time state Greco-Roman champion, a state place-winner and two-time state freestyle champion and a three-time Junior Nationals qualifier for Team Oregon. Mills earned the wrestling triple crown for Oregon in 2025 while also earning USA Wrestling Oregon's Junior Female Athlete of the Year award and being a Positive Athlete top seven girls of the West Region.

Mills plays the French horn and was a member of the school band for four years and of the wind ensemble for two years, earning varsity letters.

She earned 60 college credits while attending high school while being a National Honor Society member and a four-time scholar athlete.

Mills has a passion for supporting female athletes and has advocated for equal resources for girls wrestling throughout her high school career. She also mentored youth wrestlers and tutored peers while also working as a lifeguard at the local community center.

The daughter of Bliss and Jason Mills, she is scheduled to continue her wrestling career and education at the University of Providence in Great Falls, Montana.
