Jim Ritter

August 28, 1934 - August 16, 2022

Jim Ritter, with his wife GeorgeAnne, have been pivotal figures in Nevada wrestling, dedicating their lives to developing youth programs and shaping the sport’s future. In 1991, they co-founded the Fallon Outlaws, a youth wrestling program that continues to thrive today. Together, they worked tirelessly to promote and expand wrestling opportunities for young athletes in Northern Nevada.

Jim, a former wrestler and dedicated coach, worked alongside GeorgeAnne to mentor countless young athletes through the Fallon Outlaws. His contributions to wrestling earned him the Reno Worlds (WOW) Founders Award in 2023 and induction into the Fallon Greenwave Hall of Fame that same year.

Together, Jim and GeorgeAnne spent over three decades building a lasting legacy in wrestling, transforming the sport in Nevada and inspiring generations of athletes.
