Riley Lerner

Riley Lerner of Mays Landing, New Jersey, was a state champion and four-time finalist for Cedar Creek High School in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. She is one of only three girls in New Jersey history to reach the state finals four years in a row.

The daughter of Robert and Tracy Lerner, she will continue her wrestling career at Western New England University.

Lerner was the first female wrestler to reach 100 career wins against girls and finished with a career record of 110-14. She was captain of both the boys team and the girls team as a senior.

In her senior year, Lerner helped develop a roster of 10 girls at both Cedar Creek and sister school, Absegami High School in Galloway Township, New Jersey.

In addition to assisting with her alma mater club program, the Mays Landing Predators, Lerner also organized donation drives with proceeds benefiting veterans homes and programs. She helps with outreach and mentorship for female wrestlers through Make Wrestling MINE while working to continue to grow women's wrestling through inclusivity, opportunity and visibility.
