Coached 5 of the 9 LHSC/LHU National Champs 1961 NAIA Team Championship Coached: Elling, Rhoades and Campbell, all being inducted with him today It's truly difficult to ascertain the coaching impact of Coach Hub Jack on the individual wrestlers and the sport of wrestling in Pennsylvania. In his thirteen years at Grove City and DuBois he coached five PIAA State Champions. In 1943, Coach Jack took his talents to Lock Haven State College, where his statistics are legendary. Just a few of the legendary grapplers were Gus DeAugustino, Bob Craig, Fred Powell and one of the greatest All-time 125 pound wrestlers, Gray Simons. All seven of the above mentioned wrestlers went on to coach in high school and college and they all have been honored for their Lifetime Service to Wrestling. Gray Simons was honored by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as a "Distinguished Member"
