Mark Prince

Mark Prince, a 3X State Finalist and 2X State champion from Virginia, began his coaching career in Florida in 1991. For the past 30 years, he has helped produce over 17 State Champions and 30+ State Placers from the Pinellas County area. Many of his past athletes have gone on to serve our country in all branches of the military. This includes his three sons who currently serve in the Navy, Air Force and the Marines.

His proudest coaching moment came in 2015, when Mark watched his son win Dapper Dan and become the last Florida wrestler to finish his high school career ranked #1 in the country. In 2020, Mark and his family operated the D1 Wrestling Academy to keep wrestling active for all Florida wrestlers during the pandemic by hosting multiple tournaments and clinics. Mark and his family continue to serve the wrestling community as a coach, clinician, tournament director and referee.
