30 years as a registered official, 17 years as a State Tournament official, 8 years officiated the State Finals, his 17 years as a State Dual Tournament official. Dan officiated from 1989-2019. Dan has worked 49 Sectional and District tournaments and 10 regional Duals. 

Dan was co-founder of the Central Iowa Wrestling Officials Association and Vice-President of that association for eight years. Dan was also voted as Central Iowa District Official in the 2017. His love for the sport has been a huge part of his length of service.
