Coach / Official Gerald has 35 years of service to wrestling as a coach. He began his coaching career in South Dakota. Gerald notched 123 wins on his belt before coming to Florida in 1985. In South Dakota He coached at Wagoner Community School and Yankton High School. His wrestler's achievements were, 73 Sectional place winners, 40 State place winners, and eight State Champions. His 1980 team went un defeated 14-0. Coach Kuntz's teams finished in the top 10 in state eight times including state runner-up. In Florida, at Boca Raton Community High School his wrestler's accomplishments include, 159 District place winners, 63 Regional place winners, 22 State place winners, 2 State Champions, and 2 runner-ups. His teams were five time District Champions, four time District runner-up, and conference champions. Coach Kuntz has been coach of the year five times. His wrestlers have accomplished team if the year two times. One of his most notable accomplishments was running the FHSAA State Wrestling Championships from 1989 to 1991.
