Scott Sherman

Coach / Contributor Scott started coaching at Apopka High School in 1976. From 1977-1983 he coached at Sanford High School and went back to Apopka High School in 1984. He went to Colonial High School as an administrative dean. His position prevented him from accepting a coaching supplement, so he assisted John Houser in 1987-1988. In 1994 Scott assisted Dan Huff with Colonial High Schools wrestling team. For eight years Scott developed and hosted the Florida College Duals, a Division III Dual Meet Wrestling Tournament. In 2000 the Tournament was designated as the Division III National Dual Meet Tournament with 24 teams participated in the event. In 2003 Scott began assisting Johnny Rouse at the University of Central Florida. In the three short years since he joined the staff, Central Florida has qualified 52 wrestlers for the NCWA National Championships, had 27 All-Americans, 8 National Champions, a 4th place team finish and been National Team Champions twice.
